Oh, how I love the way this beautifully vibrant photo sparkles and pops with bursts of sunshine☀️.

Look closely! What a treat it is to watch as this sweet little bee nestles up to its favorite flower 🌸.

I still remember this particular moment from a couple of summers ago. I was out and about, enjoying some alone time, when I paused to observe this lil creature delighting in the best nature has to offer.

Like others who enjoy photography, I rarely tire of capturing beauty in its finest form.

And, more often than not, just as I’m closing in on the perfect shot, someone special comes along and steals the spotlight!

ree

As I stood there, observing this mysterious and exquisite creature, I began to wonder if perhaps there might be a story about a bee and a butterfly beginning to unravel….

What we know for sure is that God's handiwork is nothing short of a masterpiece. And, it's usually the smallest of hands that discover the sweetest treasures.

All we need is just a little patience, and we might see something truly special unfold.

Fast forward to a little later on in the summer and I had nearly forgotten all about my encounter with the bee and the butterfly. Walking hand-in-hand, down the road with my two children, when what did our little eyes spy, but some dated, yet still durable, wildly whimsical insect decor!

I wish you could have been there to hear Joanna’s squeals of excitement declaring that all that was needed was a fresh coat of paint 🎨 to make them brand-new again.

I couldn't have agreed more.

So, on a warm and sunny afternoon in August, our crew got to work.....

ree

The residue from the paint we used left such a pretty imprint on the cardboard underneath....

ree

See what I mean? And oooh...how about this one too?

ree

By now, it was time to clean up our cute little bee friends 🐝

ree

I had a ton of fun ideas ready to go, but watching the excitement in my children’s eyes won me over. I set aside my artistic plans and let them get creative.

ree

I stood back as a fun summer memory emerged…

ree

My goodness, what darling little imaginations we have here!

That's Weston’s green honey bee on the left, while Joanna's winged wonder is on your right.

So, what's a girl to do with such a charming tale as this? Write a story called, The Bee and The Butterfly, and let the magic of art do the talking 🦋

Watch what happens when you take something old and used and make it brand-new.

The achievement that brought it to GPHG's attention is largely link because link the watch houses the first COSC-certified movement with a cylindrical balance spring, which required years of testing to achieve. But it completes a legacy, in a way, as Ferdinand Berthoud himself worked on cylindrical balance springs and was link known for his development of marine chronometers.

Today, Aera sticks with its link design philosophy and branches out into its first set of mechanical chronographs with the C-1 Shadow and C-1 Cloud. For the brand's initial foray into complications, Aera uses the tried-and-true and very link expected Sellita SW510 Bi-compax automatic caliber in these link watches. The movement has 56 hours of power reserve, and in these watches, Aera opts for Elabore grade movements, with slightly improved timing regulation and finishing as opposed to the standard grade.
