The inspiration for 'Blue Hues For You' began late in the summer of 2021. While I was feeling the desire to write more, I didn't have a clear vision of where to go with that just yet. After a little brainstorming, the words ‘blue hues’ emerged and I quickly jotted the phrase down in a journal someone had recently gifted to me.

Since taking a break from working full-time, the kids and I have been spending more time in nature. It seems to be the right soil for refueling my creativity and rediscovering my love of photography.

Below, is one of my favorite photos of my son, Weston. Autumn vibes welcome here🍁

Another photo here, of Joanna, was taken during the fall of 2021. I was able to capture this sweet moment when our family stopped by her older sister's grave site...

On a different day, I almost missed it as raindrops gently decorated a leaf that fell on the ground…

My interests grew beyond photography and soon I was finding joy in creating dried wildflower arrangements for friends and family. It’s a lovely way to enjoy a bouquet no matter the season.

We're fortunate to have an abundance of pine cones on our property. Over the summer, I started painting pine cones for my kids to enjoy. Soon I realized they were being called to an even more beautiful purpose. This one made for a lovely Christmas gift, don't you think?

I find this wilderness bouquet particularly striking in black and white.

The original (no filter) is eye-catching as well…
